What started as an online flirt, turned into a sushi date and a proposal in the middle of Times Square. Now Lian & Rick celebrated their wedding in the middle of historic downtown St. Augustine, complete with a horse drawn carriage. Lian, having grown up around the world in exotic places, and Rick, a New Yorker in the Navy, brought friends and family together from around the world to celebrate their special day in style.
Here’s some of our favorite shots of the beautiful day!
There’s a wall in our office reserved just for Thank You notes from you. It also has some Save The Dates and invitations and anything else fun that has a photo we’ve taken of you that you have sent us over the years. We like to look at it to remember:
“This is why we do what we do.”
We truly love you, and are so thankful you allow us to have jobs that we love. Without you, we wouldn’t get the opportunity to wake up each day to our dream job. You allow us into your lives, to document your most precious memories and important moments of your life, and we can’t think of a greater honor than to be your chosen photographer who is allowed to preserve your memories.
So, to each and everyone of you, we just want to thank you for the privilege that we get to be your photographers. And we want you to know, we are so very thankful for… you.
To everyone reading this, we hope you have an awesomely blessed Thanksgiving full of lots of love, laughter and fattening food. (Because it’s ain’t Thanksgiving without the one day we are allowed to not think about calories!)
It was a pug-a-licious celebration on Adrienne & George’s wedding day. To them, their pugs are very much their children, and they had so many cute details through out the day catering to them such as a bride and groom cake topper with made with their pugs, pugs on the cake design, flowers adorning their collars, and even a pug lounge at the reception. It was such a cute day with lots of licks and wags and hot pink touches throughout Adrienne & George’s beautiful sunshine filled day!
So it’s 11-11-11, one of the crazy popular wedding dates. We’re actually out shooting a wedding today, so we confess, we pre-scheduled this blog entry so that you didn’t think we forgot about you.
But it’s that day again that we love to connect with you photographers out there who secretly stalk our blog. We know you are there. We know you are curious. And we LOVE having you here be part of our slice of community on the web.
Anyways… We had a great launch last week with our new video episodes called FAQ Friday, and we’re thrilled to bring you another one, and another great question asked on our Facebook page! If you’ve got more questions, be sure to leave us a question on our wall, and we just might answer YOUR question next time!
